What do you hope to glean from Family Policy Foundation’s School Board Academy?
*
Family Policy Foundation is committed to the following policy positions. Please review these statements and, if you agree with them, indicate that in the box that follows. 1. Parents’ rights to protect, provide for, and train their children are inherent and must be protected. Parents have the sole responsibility and blessing to direct the moral and religious upbringing of their children, as well as make healthcare decisions for their children. Parents have the right to be informed about what is happening in their children’s schools and what they are being taught, and to determine what curriculum their children will be exposed to. 2. God created mankind male and female in His image, fundamentally different from each other yet complementary to each other. Marriage is intended to be a lifelong union between one man and one woman, and sex is to be enjoyed within the confines of marriage. We oppose efforts that harm individuals, especially children, by furthering the theory that a person can be “born in the wrong body” and can or should alter their body to match their inner “gender.” We affirm that all human life is intrinsically valuable and worthy of protection from the time of fertilization to natural death. 3. Religious liberty is both recognized and protected in our Constitution. In fact, is the first freedom in America. We are dedicated to preserving the freedom to believe, share and live out our faith publicly as well as privately. We hold that no one sheds their right to religious freedom at the schoolhouse gate.
